American Civic Association at the Capitol

Our Deputy Director, Laila Hernandez had the honor in representing the American Civic Association at the Capitol where she and other representatives from different organizations gathered to pass the Access to Representation Act (S999/A170). This Act will help guarantee immigrants facing deportation the right to a counsel and invest in legal immigration services in FY24.
