Requests from Broome County
- Stay Local: Instead of traveling to other counties, try to stay closer to home when you go out. Limit your visits to a few hours instead of a day trip, to allow for other people to enjoy the parks. Try to avoid wildly popular and trafficked destinations.
- Go Small: When you go to Broome County parks, try to attend with smaller groups of people, such as your immediate household. While in the parks, avoid large crowds.
- Be Ready: If you encounter large crowds, move quickly around or through those areas.
- Be Safe: As per recommendations, stay six feet away from other people. If necessary, leave the park and return at another time to ensure adequate social distancing.
