For those aspiring to become citizens, we provide comprehensive Citizenship Classes to guide you through the process. Our dedicated team of educators is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where you can thrive.

ESL Class Referral
The Binghamton City School District offers free English as a Second Language classes within the American Civic Association building. We refer our clients to these classes on a need basis, however interested participants can contact the ESL program directly via email at esl.aca.bing@gmail.com or by calling them at (607) 343-7532.

Monday – Friday
From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Evening hours:
Tuesday and Wednesday
From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Summer class hours:
Monday – Thursday
From 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Evening hours:
Tue & Wed 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Classes operate year round and are available for every English ability level.

Be well prepared for your citizenship test with ACA’s free citizenship classes!
Classes are open to anyone who is eligible to become a U.S. citizen.
Classes are currently taking place in person every Thursday at 10:45am at the ACA.
